The Blenheim Singers, founded at Blenheim Palace in 2006, is internationally known for its dedication to bringing the stories of stately homes to life. In devising its programmes, the group engages with the architecture and history of the stately homes in which they perform, producing highly imaginative and relevant performances.
The choir's debut was a critically acclaimed chamber performance in the opulent Chapel at Blenheim Palace. Here, they transported the audience back to the 18th century with Handel's 'Messiah' accompanied by a baroque orchestra. 'The Blenheim Messiah', as it is now known, has become an annual event inviting people from all over the globe to immerse themselves into the magnificence of a traditional baroque Christmas.
